Premo, (Pressens Morgontjänst) is responsible for the distribution of all subscribed morning newspapers in Stockholm. We have 1900 employees who deliver 450 000 newspapers to subscribers and retailers every night.
Premo distributes Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Industri, Computer Sweden and several other smaller papers in Stockholm. We have 56 local offices, filialer
, spread all over Stockholm. The distributors spend some time doing preparatory work in the filial
before going out on their distribution area, trakt
. The time it takes to cover a trakt
varies, but on average it takes 2 hours in the outer areas and 1 hour 45 minutes in the city centre. The hours of work are between 2.00 - 6.00 am on weekdays and 2.00 - 7.00 am at weekends.
As a new employee you are working in one trakt
/night with good opportunities to work in two trakt
/night. You follow a fixed weekly schedule which can vary between 2 and 6 nights a week.

Distributors with one trakt
start work between 3.00-4.00 am and distributors with two trakt
starts between 1.30-2.30 am. All the newspapers must be delivered at the latest by 6.00 am on weekdays and by 7.00 am at weekends. If you work in the suburbs you must have your own car, but in the city centre the papers are delivered using a hand cart. All new employees receive an introduction (two nights) in how to carry out the work.
As a new employee you do not have your own trakt
, but deliver the papers in areas where the regular distributor is temporarily away.
